Just to tell you all a little bit about myself, my name is Rabia Malik and I am from Las Vegas. No I didnt grow up in a casino, nor did I attend school in a casino and I have actually never even worked in a casino. I am a Journalist (broadcast). I have worked for KVEG 97.5 FM, KVBC (NBC) and KTNV (ABC) in Las Vegas, CBS National and BET in New York, I have also done freelance work for companies like the Discover Channel, MTV & ESPN, shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Last Call with Carson Daily. At the moment I have decided to take a break from the professional world and go back to school and realize my goal of getting a Masters Degree, although I havent fully detached myself from the real world becuase someone’s gotta pay for school, so along with a full-time masters degree in Design and Technology from Parsons the New School for Design I will also continue my freelance photography work for Expedia.com
This is my second time living in NYC and its been great so far. I’m just not ready for the winter. Please feel free to give me some advice on how to keep myself warm.
